About The Author

Katherine Scheirer was born in Suffolk, England, and moved to Alberta, Canada, at the age of 9.

She attended the University of Alberta and graduated with a degree in Secondary Education, majoring in Science and minoring in English. She also has a certificate from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in Dental Assisting. Katherine has spent the last decade utilizing both specialties as a dental assistant, teaching at the post-secondary level, and working with post-secondary institutions to support their programs.

Creative writing has always been a passion of hers. She is an avid reader of all genres, with a particular fondness for epic fantasy stories.

Bound by Runes is her debut novel coming out June 30th, 2025.
